Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative Cameraman to join our production team. The Cameraman will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage for various projects, including films, documentaries, commercials, and corporate videos. The ideal candidate should have technical expertise in operating cameras, proficiency in composition and framing, and a keen eye for detail. They should also possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with directors, cinematographers, and other crew members to achieve the desired visual style and narrative.

Responsibilities:

• Operate cameras and related equipment to capture footage for film, television, or other media projects.
• Set up and adjust camera settings, including aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and focus, to achieve desired visual effects.
• Frame shots effectively to convey mood, emotion, and narrative, following composition principles such as the rule of thirds and leading lines.
• Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, and other crew members to understand project requirements and translate them into visually compelling shots.
• Ensure the proper lighting setup for each scene, working closely with the lighting team to achieve the desired look and feel.
• Execute smooth and controlled camera movements, including panning, tilting, tracking, and dolly shots, to enhance storytelling and visual impact.
• Monitor camera feeds and make adjustments as needed during shooting to maintain technical quality and continuity.
• Maintain and care for camera equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition for each shoot.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in cinematography and camera operation.
